Immediately: Primary care billing teams must update billing systems to use correct developmental screening codes - 96127 for autism screening ($18.39), 96110EP for other developmental screening ($18.39), and 96110 for secondary screening ($4.91). Add required Z-codes to all developmental screening claims. Update encounter forms with new modifier requirements. Claims without proper codes and Z-codes may be denied.
