Summary
MO HealthNet is conducting a mass adjustment to reprocess Personal Care and Home Health Care claims from May 6-13, 2026 that were processed without proper Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) validation due to a system issue. Hard launch claims without matching EVV visits will be denied and overpayments will be recouped, with adjustments appearing on May 29, 2026 remittance advice.
Action Required
By May 29, 2026: Personal Care and Home Health Care providers (types 26 and 28) must review remittance advice for claim adjustments and prepare for potential recoupments. Billing teams should ensure all EVV documentation is complete for affected claims from May 6-13, 2026 and contact Ask.EVV@dss.mo.gov or (833) 222-7916 if assistance is needed. Claims without matching EVV visits will be denied and overpayments recouped.
