Summary
Missouri Medicaid is implementing a two-phase off-cycle provider revalidation initiative requiring specific provider types to complete revalidation by October 1, 2026 (Phase I) and March 2, 2027 (Phase II). Failure to complete revalidation within designated timeframes will result in termination from the MO HealthNet program.
Action Required
By October 1, 2026: Phase I providers (Adult Day Care with Provider IDs beginning with '29', DME Suppliers with IDs beginning with '62', providers without NPIs, and high-risk providers including Autism Center Clinics with IDs beginning with '50') must complete revalidation through eMOMED system. By March 2, 2027: Phase II providers (Home Health with IDs beginning with '58', Private Duty Nursing with '94', Applied Behavioral Analysts with '73', Hospice with '82', Substance Abuse with '86') must complete revalidation. Billing team must ensure eMOMED account contact information is current and monitor for 120-, 90-, 60-, and 30-day email notices. Failure to revalidate will result in provider termination and inability to bill Medicaid.
