Summary
Effective April 20, 2021, CMAP enrolled providers must resume obtaining signatures on delivery receipts for medical equipment, devices and supplies (MEDS) delivered to HUSKY Health members and must submit complete paperwork for re-authorizations of existing prior authorizations. These requirements were previously suspended under Executive Order 7EE but are now being reinstated.
Action Required
By April 20, 2021: CMAP enrolled MEDS providers must obtain signatures on delivery receipts for all Medical Equipment, Devices and Supplies delivered to HUSKY Health members. Submit complete paperwork for re-authorizations of existing prior authorizations (PA). Update delivery procedures to require signed receipts and ensure re-authorization paperwork is complete before submission. Claims may be denied without proper signatures and complete re-authorization documentation.
