Summary
Starting September 1, 2026, providers must submit medical records for commercial member claims through Machinify's TrueCost portal instead of faxing or mailing to BCBSTX. Government program claims will continue to be submitted directly to BCBSTX as before.
Action Required
Before September 1, 2026: Medical records staff must transition from faxing/mailing medical records to using Machinify's TrueCost portal for all commercial member claims when requested. Watch for email requests from Machinify containing portal access links. Continue current submission methods for Medicare, Medicaid, and other government program claims.
