Immediately: If treating NYC employees with NYCE PPO coverage, billing team must set up access to the NYCE PPO provider portal for eligibility verification, claims submission, and prior authorizations. Do NOT use UnitedHealthcare or UMR portals for these members. Configure EDI clearinghouse to use payer ID 26992 for claims (EDI 837) and payer ID 39026 for payments (EDI 835).
