Summary
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Medicare Advantage has transitioned from their current EFT system to a new no-cost ePayment Center powered by Zelis for claims payments and remittance delivery. Providers must enroll in the new CareFirst ePayment Center to continue receiving electronic payments via ACH, or they will receive paper checks instead.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must enroll in CareFirst ePayment Center at carefirstmedicaid-medicare.epayment.center using practice's TIN/EIN, corporate name, and bank account information. Complete enrollment within 24-48 hours of receiving email from help@epayment.center. If not enrolled, Medicare Advantage payments will be received via paper check instead of electronic transfer.
