Summary
Oregon Medicaid will auto-terminate mental health and substance use disorder providers who fail to respond to licensing information requests. SUD providers face termination starting June 1, 2026, and MH providers starting July 1, 2026.
Action Required
By May 15, 2026: All MH (type 33) and SUD (type 03) Oregon Medicaid providers must establish process to monitor and respond to OHA licensing notices sent 60 and 30 days before license expiration. Billing team must fax renewed licenses with OHA notice to 503-947-1177 immediately upon receipt. Update provider contact information via OHP Provider Enrollment page.
