Summary
Oregon Medicaid has directed CCOs to hold all Planned Parenthood claims with dates of service on or after July 4, 2025, due to federal prohibition under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Claims should not be processed or submitted until further guidance is provided.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must configure claims processing system to hold all Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette (PPCW) and Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon (PPSO) claims with service dates on or after July 4, 2025. Do not submit encounter data for these claims. Share this directive with all relevant staff and subcontractors. This applies only to CCO Medicaid Contract members, not Non-Medicaid or Oregon Health Plan Bridge contracts.
