CareSource Ohio Medicaid will begin denying claims that lack matching Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records starting June 1, 2025 for home health services and August 1, 2025 for private duty nursing services. All affected claims must have valid EVV documentation in Sandata to avoid automatic denials.
Action Required
By June 1, 2025: Home health providers must ensure all claims for codes G0151, G0152, G0153, G0156, G0299, G0300 have matching EVV visit records in Sandata before submission. By August 1, 2025: Private duty nursing providers must ensure all T1000 and T1001 claims have matching EVV records. Billing teams must verify EVV documentation exists in Sandata for each service date before submitting claims or they will be automatically denied.
