Summary
CareSource experienced a system error on April 8, 2026 that caused incorrect service dates to display on provider payment documents (EPPs showing 01/01/1900 and 835 remittance files showing 01/01/2000). The error only affected payment reporting display, not actual claim processing or payment amounts, and corrections will be completed by April 20, 2026.
Action Required
By April 21, 2026: Billing team should download updated EPPs and 835 remittance files from ECHO portal and CareSource Portal once corrections are complete. Do not resubmit claims based solely on the incorrect service dates. Monitor clearinghouse for updated Electronic Remittance Advice for Ohio Medicaid and MyCare members.
