Summary
SLP providers must now request Medicaid conversion screens immediately upon Medicaid application submission, rather than waiting for approval and RIN assignment. Additionally, admission information must be submitted within 15 business days of Medicaid approval notice through the MEDI system.
Action Required
Immediately: SLP providers must contact Bureau of Long Term Care (217-782-0545) to schedule conversion screens as soon as residents submit Medicaid applications, not after approval. Within 15 business days of Form 458LTC notice: Submit admission information through MEDI system using at least one required field (RIN, SSN, or Case Number) with correct data placement.
