Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) providers must now use the online Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) system for all Medicaid eligibility applications instead of paper applications. Paper applications will only be accepted for 7 days after this notice (until December 19, 2014), after which only online ABE applications will be processed.
Action Required
By December 19, 2014: LTC billing staff must transition from paper Medicaid applications to the online ABE system for all resident eligibility applications. Download and use the revised form HFS 3654 (Additional Financial Information for Long Term Care Applicants) and upload it with each ABE application.
