Summary
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services has launched an EHR Provider Incentive Payment program allowing eligible hospitals to receive incentive payments for adopting certified EHR technology. Attestation applications are now available through the HFS MEDI website for providers who have registered with CMS and met prerequisites.
Action Required
For eligible hospitals in Illinois: Register at the federal CMS EHR Incentive Program website, verify HFS provider enrollment status, and complete attestation via the HFS MEDI website to receive incentive payments starting February 2012.
