Summary
Effective January 1, 2025, Kansas providers enrolled with KMAP can now contract with Healthy Blue as a KanCare MCO. Existing Healthy Blue Kansas Medicaid providers will be automatically enrolled through KMAP by January 15, 2025, while new providers must complete enrollment through the KMAP portal.

By January 15, 2025: Providers currently contracted with Healthy Blue for Kansas Medicaid should verify automatic enrollment status with KMAP. New providers wanting Healthy Blue contracts must complete two-step process: first enroll with KMAP through Provider Enrollment Wizard, then contract with Healthy Blue. After January 1, 2025, confirm MCO contract choice in KMAP secure provider portal to ensure proper claims processing.
