Summary
Starting January 1, 2025, Kansas Medicaid will require a $730 application fee for new provider applications, re-enrollments, and reactivations for certain provider types including hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, custodial care facilities, and rehabilitation facilities. Individual providers, non-physician practitioners, groups, Medicare-enrolled providers, and those who previously paid fees to Medicare or other state Medicaid plans are exempt.
