Action Required

Action needed
Before January 1, 2025: Credentialing team must identify all Kansas Medicaid provider applications, re-enrollments, and reactivations due after January 1, 2025. Check provider type against exemption criteria and prepare $730 payment via check or money order to 'State of Kansas - Medicaid' for applicable provider types. Verify Medicare enrollment through PECOS system to confirm fee exemptions. Update application processes to include fee payment requirements to avoid returned paperwork.
