Summary

Kansas is implementing mandatory Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Personal Care Services and Home Health Care Services claims processing through the Fiserv AuthentiCare Solution starting January 2025. KDHE is hosting virtual town hall meetings in December 2024 and January 2025 to train providers on the new claims processing requirements and Healthy Blue on-boarding.

Before January 2025: Kansas providers billing Personal Care Services (PCS) and Home Health Care Services (HHCS) must register for and attend the EVV town hall meetings on December 11, 2024, and January 8, 2025. Billing teams must prepare to process all PCS and HHCS claims through the Fiserv AuthentiCare Solution for Electronic Visit Verification. Complete Healthy Blue on-boarding process as discussed in training. Claims that do not use required EVV processing will not be accepted.
