Summary
Effective October 28, 2024, Kansas providers can now enroll with Healthy Blue as a KanCare Medicaid MCO, with automatic enrollment for existing KMAP providers through December 27, 2024. After December 27, 2024, all providers must use the standard KMAP portal enrollment process to contract with Healthy Blue.
Action Required
By December 27, 2024: Existing KMAP providers interested in Healthy Blue should verify their automatic enrollment status and respond to any credentialing documentation requests from Healthy Blue. After December 27, 2024: New providers or those not currently active with KMAP must complete enrollment through the KMAP Provider Portal and obtain a KMAP ID number before contracting with any KanCare MCO including Healthy Blue.
