Summary
Effective April 1, 2023, stand-alone vaccine counseling codes G0312, G0313, G0314, and G0315 can no longer be billed by Early Childhood Intervention providers, Local Education Agencies, and Podiatrists under KMAP. These provider types must now bill using their individual Medicaid ID numbers instead of RHC or FQHC provider numbers.
Action Required
Immediately: Podiatrists and Early Childhood Intervention/Local Education Agency providers must stop billing vaccine counseling codes G0312, G0313, G0314, and G0315 under RHC or FQHC provider numbers. Update billing system to use individual Medicaid ID numbers for these services. Review and resubmit any claims from April 1, 2023 forward that were billed incorrectly.
