Summary
Nevada Medicaid has temporarily updated their Prior Authorization portal for behavioral health services to require assessment scores, but providers who don't use LOCUS, CALOCUS, or ECSII assessments cannot submit requests. A workaround is now available: select any assessment type, enter 'Not Applicable' for Level, '999' for Assessment Score, and the PA submission date until the portal is fixed.

Immediately: Behavioral health providers submitting Nevada Medicaid prior authorizations who don't use LOCUS, CALOCUS, or ECSII assessments must use this workaround: select any assessment type from dropdown, enter 'Not Applicable' in Level field, enter '999' in Assessment Score field, and enter PA submission date in Date field. Monitor for future web announcement when portal is corrected.
