Summary
GeoBlue international health insurance has been rebranded as Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions effective February 18, 2026. Member coverage and benefits remain unchanged, but ID cards will be updated with the new brand name during a phased rollout through 2027.
Action Required
Immediately: Train front desk and billing staff to recognize both GeoBlue and BCBS Global Solutions ID cards as valid during the transition period through end of 2027. Continue to verify eligibility using the phone number on the back of member ID cards and submit claims according to card instructions. Treat these members as out-of-area BlueCard Program members - do not collect payments beyond member cost-share amounts.
