Summary

Priority Health is launching a new Provider Portal on September 1, 2025, replacing the legacy PRISM system. All providers must request new accounts immediately, complete training, and prepare for the transition. Non-urgent requests should be held until portal access is confirmed to avoid visibility gaps during the migration period.

Action Required

Action needed
By August 31, 2025: (1) Billing team and all provider staff must request new Provider Portal accounts immediately via the onboarding page to allow time for approval before Sept. 1 cutoff—failure to do so will result in access gaps. (2) Hold all non-urgent requests (inquiries, claims, authorizations, disputes/appeals, enrollment/credentialing) on PRISM until Provider Portal access is confirmed; submit these beginning Sept. 1 on the new portal. (3) Designated staff must complete Provider Portal training by attending webinars or viewing recordings organized by role type. (4) Billing team must download, review, and bookmark all portal resource guides (user guides, authorization procedures, member eligibility checks, claims processing, enrollment functions, pre-login functionality, video tutorials, FAQs). (5) Document alternative processes for Sept. 1 contingency: urgent authorizations via fax only, member eligibility/claim status via pre-login portal access at provider.priorityhealth.com, and Provider Services contact line (800.942.4765, Mon-Thurs 7:30 AM-5 PM, Fri 9 AM-5 PM) for urgent non-portal requests. Consequences: Delayed account requests will cause access gaps on Sept. 1; pending PRISM items will not migrate to new portal; failure to plan alternatives may disrupt claims, authorizations, and eligibility verification.
