Action Required
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED: If your practice provides or bills for Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU) services in Virginia, contact the PRSS Provider Enrollment Helpline immediately at 1-804-270-5105 or 1-888-829-5373 (or email vamedicaidproviderenrollment@gainwelltechnologies.com) to complete the enrollment process. Billing team must: (1) Immediately stop billing any RCSU claims to Aetna Better Health of Virginia, as your location has been marked inactive and claims will be denied; (2) Identify and notify all affected Virginia Medicaid members currently receiving or scheduled for RCSU services; (3) Facilitate member transition to a network provider with active RCSU licensing; (4) Update internal billing system and EMR to flag RCSU services as non-billable until enrollment status changes; (5) Document the licensing denial status for compliance and audit purposes. Failure to take action will result in claim denials, member care disruptions, and potential network removal.
