Summary
IHCP is adding three new ostomy and urological supply codes (A4435, A4436, A4437) to the list of supplies that must be obtained only through contracted vendors for fee-for-service members. These codes will join the existing contracted vendor requirement effective February 1, 2026.
Action Required
By February 1, 2026: Billing team must update systems to ensure codes A4435, A4436, and A4437 are only billed through IHCP contracted vendors for fee-for-service Medicaid members. Update encounter forms and provider documentation to reflect vendor requirement. Direct billing of these codes will not be reimbursed.
