Update billing system to flag or reject these codes for Ambetter of Illinois plans effective 01/01/2027. Coordinate with clinical staff to identify alternative billing codes or services for behavioral health and social services currently billed under non-covered codes. Add H0006 to approved code list for Ambetter of Illinois starting 01/01/2027. Train billing staff on the change and establish process to verify code coverage by plan before claim submission. Failure to implement these changes will result in claim denials and revenue loss on all Ambetter of Illinois claims using the discontinued codes.
