Action Required
Every 90 days: Administrative staff must verify provider directory information using either the Provider Data Management feature in Availity Essentials or the Demographic Change Form, even if no changes occurred. When information does change, update it with BCBSMT, the CAQH Provider Data Portal, and the National Provider Identifier Registry if applicable. For removing providers from groups, use the Demographic Change Form and select 'Remove Provider from Group/Location.' Ensure office staff have access to current information that aligns with what was provided to BCBSMT.
