MassHealth is transitioning dental third-party administrator from BeneCare to DentaQuest effective February 1, 2026. All dental credentialing, claims, and prior authorizations must be submitted to BeneCare by January 30, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET, with new submissions going to DentaQuest starting February 1st.
Action Required
By January 30, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET: Billing team must submit all outstanding MassHealth dental claims, prior authorization requests, reconsiderations, inquiries, and voids to BeneCare. Starting February 1, 2026: Switch to DentaQuest portal at MassHealth-Dental.org for all new submissions. Do not resubmit claims to DentaQuest that were already submitted to BeneCare. Update billing workflows and train staff on new portal access.
