Summary
Molina Healthcare of California will begin immediately terminating contracts for practitioners whose licenses expire, effective July 1, 2025. Action Required
By July 1, 2025: All providers must ensure state medical licenses are renewed before expiration dates. If license expires, providers must notify Molina's Network team immediately upon renewal within 30 days to avoid contract termination. After 31 days of expired license, providers must complete full re-credentialing process. Billing team should track provider license expiration dates and alert providers 60-90 days before expiration to prevent service disruptions and claim denials.
