Summary
For Texas Medicaid UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members, providers must now contact a service coordinator at 800-349-0550 for long-term skilled nursing care (codes S9123 and S9124) instead of submitting prior authorization requests through the normal process. Acute skilled nursing care (G0299, G0300) continues to use the standard prior authorization process through the Provider Portal.

Staff must call 800-349-0550 to reach a service coordinator for codes S9123 and S9124 instead of submitting prior authorization requests through the Provider Portal.
