Summary
IHCP has identified and corrected a system issue that incorrectly denied Money Follows the Person claims for HCPCS code T1028 with modifier U7 (home modifications assessment) from October 30, 2023 through February 20, 2025. Claims will be automatically mass adjusted or reprocessed, with results appearing on remittance advices starting April 9, 2025.
Action Required
By April 9, 2025: Billing team should monitor remittance advices for adjusted or reprocessed claims with ICNs beginning with 52 or 80. If retroactive claims need submission, include a copy of this bulletin when submitting claims beyond the standard filing limit (within 180 days of March 6, 2025).
