Summary
Indiana Medicaid (IHCP) has corrected a system error that was incorrectly denying claims for school nursing services provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Claims will be automatically reprocessed starting January 22, 2025, or providers can resubmit within 180 days.
Action Required
By June 17, 2025: Billing team should review any denied claims for CPT 99600 with modifiers TE TM for LPN school nursing services that received EOB 4150 denial. Monitor remittance advices starting January 22, 2025 for automatic adjustments with ICNs beginning with 52 or 80. If resubmitting manually, include a copy of bulletin BT2024209 with claims to satisfy timely filing requirements.
