Indiana launches a new Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) pilot program starting January 1, 2025, with 8 participating sites. Action Required
By January 1, 2025: Eligible behavioral health providers must enroll as CCBHC specialty 623 if participating in pilot program. Billing team must configure systems to require T1040 code with PPS rate plus at least one triggerable encounter code on all CCBHC claims. Add Q2 modifier to all encounter services and V2 modifier for designated collaborating organization services. Claims without T1040 will be denied. Submit all CCBHC claims directly to Gainwell, not managed care entities.
