Summary
Indiana PathWays for Aging program claims were incorrectly paid or denied through fee-for-service system instead of managed care entities from July 1-September 23, 2024. Affected claims will be recouped starting November 20, 2024, and providers must resubmit to the correct managed care entity within 90 days.
Action Required
By November 20, 2024: Review remittance advices for recoupments with ICN/Claim IDs beginning with 52 (mass replacements) or 80 (reprocessed denied claims). Immediately identify any Indiana PathWays for Aging members and resubmit affected claims to the member's assigned managed care entity within 90 days of October 17, 2024. Include a copy of bulletin BT2024168 when submitting claims beyond standard filing limits to satisfy timely filing requirements.
