Summary
Indiana Medicaid (IHCP) removed 35 procedure codes from the valid FQHC and RHC encounter code list that were erroneously added. Claims that received wrap payments for these codes will be recouped starting July 3, 2024.
Action Required
Immediately: FQHC and RHC billing teams must stop using the 35 removed procedure codes for Medicaid encounter billing. Update billing system to flag these codes as invalid for IHCP claims. Prepare for claim recoupments appearing on remittance advices starting July 3, 2024. Review the updated valid encounter code list at myersandstauffer.com.
