Summary
Indiana Medicaid has corrected an error where two NDCs for Treanda injection (J9033) were incorrectly terminated by CMS in 2017. The term dates have been removed, allowing these NDCs to be billed again, and previously denied claims from May 9, 2022 onward will be automatically reprocessed starting July 3, 2024.

No immediate action required for billing team - Indiana Medicaid will automatically reprocess previously denied claims with EOB 4007 for J9033 (Treanda injection) starting July 3, 2024. Monitor remittance advices for reprocessed payments. For future claims, NDCs 63459039008 and 63459039120 can now be billed with J9033 at max reimbursement of $31.20.
