Summary
Indiana Medicaid identified incorrect payments for Community Transition services (code T2038 with modifiers U7 U5) under the CIH Waiver program. The system has been corrected and will automatically reprocess underpaid claims, with corrected payments appearing on remittance advices starting June 5, 2024.

Starting June 5, 2024: Billing team should monitor remittance advices for reprocessed Community Transition service claims with ICNs beginning with 52 or 80. No action required from providers as Indiana Medicaid will automatically mass adjust or reprocess underpaid claims for T2038 services with U7 U5 modifiers.
