Summary
Indiana Medicaid updated pricing and billing information for several HCPCS codes from the April 2023 quarterly update. Professional and outpatient pricing has been added for urinary catheter devices, compression garments, and neurostimulator supplies, with changes effective retroactively to April 1, 2023.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify current pricing for codes A4341, A4342, A6590, A6591, E0677, L8678, and A2020 on the IHCP Professional and Outpatient Fee Schedules at in.gov/medicaid/providers. Update billing system with new pricing and ensure L8678 is set up for separate professional claim billing in addition to outpatient institutional claims. Prior authorization is no longer required for A2020 (AC5 Advanced Wound System).
