Summary
Indiana Medicaid now allows POS code 10 (telehealth in patient's home) for FQHCs and RHCs starting July 21, 2022. Claims with POS 10 before July 21 will deny and must be corrected using POS 02 and resubmitted.
Action Required
Immediately: Update billing system to allow POS code 10 for FQHC and RHC telehealth claims dated July 21, 2022 or later. Resubmit any denied claims with POS 10 dated before July 21 using POS 02 instead. Ensure telehealth claims include appropriate modifiers (93 or 95) and use encounter codes T1015 for medical or D9999 for dental to receive wrap payments. Add Q3014 with POS 02 and modifier 95 when billing as originating site.
