Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) updated HCPCS codes for April 2022 quarterly release, adding new procedure codes (mostly noncovered diagnostic tests) and one covered skin substitute code A2011. Most new codes are specialized diagnostic tests that are not covered by IHCP.
Action Required
By June 29, 2022 (managed care) or September 28, 2022 (fee-for-service): Billing team must update system with new HCPCS codes effective April 1, 2022. Mark codes 0306U-0322U as noncovered. Add A2011 (Supra SDRM skin substitute) as covered for podiatrists only with revenue code 636 linkage. Include copy of bulletin first page when submitting claims beyond standard filing limits to bypass timely filing requirements.
