Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) added four new billing codes for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments. Two codes cover Johnson & Johnson vaccine and administration (91303, 0031A), and two cover bamlanivimab/etesevimab treatment (Q0245, M0245). All codes are effective retroactively with specific reimbursement rates.
Action Required
Immediately: Add new HCPCS codes 91303, 0031A, Q0245, and M0245 to billing system for COVID-19 services. Set reimbursement rates: 0031A at $37.21 (after 3/17/21) or $26.11 (2/27-3/16/21), M0245 at $278.98 (professional) or $309.60 (outpatient). Configure 91303 and Q0245 to bill at zero dollars. Link all codes to revenue code 636. Submit managed care member claims to Gainwell Technologies FFS system, not managed care plans.
