Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) updated reimbursement rates for 5 new outpatient procedure codes effective July 1, 2020, added new COVID-19 testing codes effective June 25, 2020, and added a new injection code requiring prior authorization. Providers can resubmit affected claims for proper reimbursement.
Action Required
Immediately: Update billing system with new reimbursement rates for codes 0594T, 0614T, 0619T, C9762, and C9763. Configure J0791 to require prior authorization for all claims with DOS on or after July 1, 2020. Billing team should resubmit any previously denied claims for these codes. Note that COVID-19 antigen test 87426 is copay exempt and allowed for podiatrists.
