Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) added new COVID-19 related telehealth codes that are covered only for Medicare crossover claims for dually eligible members. New code G2025 is effective retroactive to January 27, 2020, and codes G0071, G2061, G2062, G2063 are effective retroactive to March 6, 2020.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update systems to bill newly covered telehealth codes G2025, G0071, G2061, G2062, and G2063 for Medicare crossover claims only for dually eligible Indiana Medicaid members. Resubmit previously denied crossover claims using these codes retroactively to their effective dates. Ensure billing staff understand these codes are only covered for crossover claims, not standalone Medicaid claims.
