Summary
Indiana Medicaid will temporarily reimburse HCBS waiver attendant care providers for transporting members to medical appointments through June 30, 2020, but will discontinue this reimbursement after that date. Providers must use specific T2003 code combinations with modifiers for nonmedical transportation billing.

By June 30, 2020: HCBS waiver attendant care providers must stop billing for nonmedical transportation services or enroll with Southeastrans as a common carrier to continue providing transportation. Use T2003 with appropriate modifier combinations (U7, U1/U2, UB for base trips) as outlined in the policy table.
