Summary
Indiana FSSA is implementing changes to Family Supports Waiver (FSW) and Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH) Waiver services effective April 17, 2020, pending CMS approval. Changes include new services added to FSW, rate increases for case management, service cap increases, renaming of habilitation services, and end-dating of multiple facility and community habilitation codes.
Action Required
By April 17, 2020: Billing team must update system with new procedure codes and modifiers for Day Habilitation services (T2020 with new modifier combinations), add new FSW services including Environmental Modification (S5165), Remote Supports (A9279), and Transportation levels (T2002). Stop using end-dated facility and community habilitation codes after April 30, 2020. Update case management rates from $131.25 to $143.75 for T2022.
