By February 24, 2021: Begin using Availity portal for uploading appeals, corrected claims, medical records, and invoices to BCBSWY instead of faxing or mailing. By April 1, 2021: All staff must transition to submitting inpatient hospital prior authorizations and concurrent reviews exclusively through Availity portal. Register for training sessions (Feb 24 at 10am, March 16 at 2pm, or March 18 at 2pm) by contacting provider.relations@www.bcbswy.com. Update workflow procedures to use electronic submission for better tracking and documentation.
