Summary
BCBSRI introduces HealthPath and HealthPath Connect behavioral health programs offering comprehensive team-based mental health services through Care New England partnership. Multiple referral pathways are now available including Continuum Behavioral Health intake scheduling and Beacon Health Options clinical support services.
Action Required
Immediately: Update referral workflows to include HealthPath programs for behavioral health patients. Train staff on three referral options: (1) Contact Continuum Behavioral Health at (401) 415-8868 for HealthPath intake appointments, (2) Use Beacon Clinical Referral Line at 1-800-274-2958 for provider matching, (3) Refer to Beacon Case Management at 1-800-274-2958 option 3 then option 1. Update patient education materials to include these new behavioral health resources.
